These land issues has become too much. We have to cancel the indenture process of land documentation and go straight to title registration. Any land being sold should have a titled number and who it belongs to. The land commission should have a portal where these numbers can be checked online by paying some fees before transactions take place. That middle ground of indenture before title is what is causing most of the problem . It provides crooks the opportunity to deceive people. Once we move to direct titled policy. The only thing needed for completion of transaction is transfer of title signed by the seller and submitted to the commission. So the portal will show the new owner of that land. These middle grounds policy is what affected our passport and driving licence applications fraught with so much fraudsters. ( nicked named goro boys). We should eliminate all sort of middle ground documentation to bring sanity in this area. Dr Digital Please take this digitalisation into this space too. We need it urgently.
