To further advance the economy, President John Mahama will this afternoon hold meetings with the Economic Management Team and Leadership of the Africa Development Bank.
The Economic Management Team has been instituting some measures including sealing loopholes with regards to revenue collection.
The team will brief President Mahama on progress made particularly in pushing policies and programmes.
A Deputy Minister of Information and Media Relations, Murtala Mohammed, disclosed this at the Daily Media Briefing at Flagstaff House in Accra.
He stated that the African Development Bank, AFDB, has over the years, provided assistance to Ghana in the areas of education, health and infrastructural development.
Discussions with the AFDB will explore other areas of support.
Murtala Mohammed also spoke on the West African Gas Pipeline Project. He said the project has come on stream and has started supplies to some thermal plants.
The Asogli Power Plant is now working and currently produces 150 megawatts of power.
