Bank of Africa (BOA), Ghana, as part of its corporate social responsibility fed street children and the less fortunate during the Easter celebration.
This was contained in a press statement issued by the Bank of Africa and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Saturday.
The statement said the Bank of Africa-Ghana collaborated with the Multimedia Group Limited, and it was to affirm the conviction of the bank regarding promoting the health and wellbeing of the communities in which it operates.
It said: �BOA-Ghana avail itself to the opportunity created by the annual Joy FM Easter Soup Kitchen Event and donated some food items for the Easter celebration�.
The bank supported the event with bags of rice, gallons of vegetable cooking oil, cartons of tinned tomatoes as well as cartons of tinned fish.
The bank�s corporate social responsibility activities include the support for the age at Akropong, provision of white boards for the cluster of schools at Dansoman among others� it added.
