First Capital Plus Bank has launched its customer service week in Accra on the theme “We are because you bank with us”.

The week-long activities commence on Saturday June 7, 2014 with a corporate games day at the Lizzy Sports Complex for staff, customers and other stakeholders of the bank.

The bank will organise a business clinic on June 9, at the African Regency Hotel to offer strategic insights into how customers can grow their businesses. The CEO of the bank, Mr John Kofi Mensah, will lead the interaction.

Commenting on the celebration, the Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs, Nana Yaw Kesse, said First Capital Plus was established as a Savings and Loans Company in 2009 and it became a universal bank in August, 2013.

The theme is in recognition of the fact that it’s the customers who have made that transition possible with their unbridled loyalty.
As part of the celebration, the bank has also teamed up with the Ghana Blind Union to organise a free eye-screening exercise for customers and staff at the forecourt of the head office on Spintex road on June 10.

According to the Head of Customer Service and Service Quality, Ms Roberta Sarkodie, the concept of superior customer service was embedded in the company’s identity as reflected in its core values and as such, First Capital Plus conscientiously shrived to ensure that its systems, structures and procedures were customer-focused.

She said the occasion sought to celebrate customers and as such the company was inviting all customers to participate actively in the week-long activities.
