The benchmark GSE All-Share index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) ended the week better on the strength of gains by GCB, GOIL and Guinness Ghana Limited.
The index went up by 8.79 points to close the session at 5,321.84 points from 5,313.05 points on Thursday.
Change for the year to date now stands at -48.98 per cent.
Shares that changed hands were higher at 277,500 from Thursday's 92,100. CAL Bank sold 117,500 shares. Market capitalisation went up marginally at GH�15,306.01 million from GH�15,199.62 million.
There were three price changes all positive.
Ghana Commercial Bank gained GH�0.01 at GH�0.72; GOIL made GH�0.01 at GH�0.17 and Guinness Ghana Limited was also GH�0.01 better at GH�1.26. M
