Mobile Communications Network (MTN) as part of measures to expand access to its products and services to subscribers, has opened a sales outlet at Ayigya in the Kumasi Metropolis.

Dubbed: "Connect Store", this brings to 11 the number of such shops in Kumasi increasing the national total to 21.

Mr Simon Amoh, Manager, Sales and Distribution Division, said apart from bringing products and services closer to subscribers, there would be job openings for the youth.

"MTN has found it necessary to bring a variety of reliable telecommunications services to the doorstep of our customers to further boost businesses and provide better access to MTN's unique products and services," he said

Mr Amoh said their goal is to provide quality services to satisfy cherished needs of the customer.

A former District Education Director for Ahafo-Ano South, Mr Sampson Amofa-Kra, applauded MTN for efforts at deepening its relationship with customers in under-served areas.

He challenged the company to be guided by the high standard it had set and to make sure all Ghanaians receive quality services.

"Stay focused and continue to deliver better services," he said.

Mr Amoako Asiamah, Development Officer of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), noted that the introduction of the new service would make it easier for subscribers to get problems addressed.
