The management of Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana has agreed to pay its workers the 25 per cent bonus package it owes them.
It has also agreed to pay an extra five percent, demanded by the workers for the delay in trying to settle impasse between them and the union leaders.
The 30 per cent package, Citi Business News has learnt will be paid in installments within a period of six weeks. It is unclear yet, however, when the payment will begin.
Despite the amicable settling of the impasse, some of the workers are still calling for the dismissal of some management members of the bank.
Leaders of the union and the management were in a meeting on Tuesday afternoon to iron out the fine details of the agreement.
