The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has acquired two vans for the detection of cable faults.
Perpetual Phyllis Darfuor, Board Chair of ECG, commenting on the acquisition of vans, said they were purchased the vans to assist the company track broken and faulty underground cables that were difficult to locate.
She disclosed that ECG acquired cable vans in the past which were still in use, stressing that the company found it necessary to buy more vans to be positioned at strategic positions to quickly locate faulty cables.
