The Ghana Airports Company Ltd (GACL) has announced the temporarily closure of the Kumasi Airport to allow for some rehabilitation works.
A statement issued by the management of the GACL said �The Ghana Airports Company Ltd (GACL) wishes to inform the general public that the Kumasi Airport will be closed on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 for rehabilitation works on the runway.�
�The Airport will be re-opened for normal operations on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. �
�GACL regrets the inconvenience caused as a result of the intended closure and wishes to assure the Domestic airlines and the general public of its commitment to ensure that safety standards are maintained.�
