Vodafone Business Solutions has once again launched a new product called ‘Ready Business’ to empower Ghanaian businesses to overcome challenges and to take advantage of future opportunities.

The launch which took place on Thursday at the plush Labadi Beach Hotel brought together several business entrepreneurs including Mr Prince Kofi Amoabeng, the Chief Executive Officer of UT Bank and co-founder of the UT Group of companies.

Introducing the product, Head of VBS, Angela Mensah-Poku indicated that ‘Ready Business’ came out of a feedback gathered from over 1000 business and IT professionals.

Vodafone Business Solutions

VBS is committed to delivering a range of innovative and integrated solutions tailored to meet the communication needs of corporate organisations, SMEs and Government agencies in Ghana.

As a brand that is constantly in touch with the needs, expectations, challenges and aspirations of customers, businesses are able to grow by ensuring that customers are served with innovative market-led products.

“Our commitment to innovation has led to the introduction of a number of firsts in the industry, including the Fleet Manager service which allows businesses to monitor their vehicles and assets; and the Hybrid service which allows post-paid customers to recharge their airtime when they run out” the head of VBS stated.

Ready Business

According to Angela Mensah-Poku, per their feedback, the biggest issue facing any business now, whether small or large, is predicting the future.

Most of the respondents believe technology is the primary enabler for ‘Readiness’.

Vodafone Business Solutions therefore has leveraged on this to come up with a new campaign called Ready Business because they believe that all businesses must be prepared to deal with unforeseen changes it will face in the future. It’s about empowering businesses with technology where everything, and everyone is confidently connected everywhere they are.

“Revolution is creating new industries and making old ones redundant almost overnight. CEOs are struggling to be responsive in a world where a ‘tweet’ can impact on share price. CIO’s are moving from keeping the IT working to pioneering new ways of working, and businesses of all sizes are trying to be more flexible, adaptable and mobile to survive…Businesses of all types can become Ready by partnering Vodafone Business Solutions to enjoy relevant customised solutions to meet their needs because we offer total communication solutions”.

“We want to be the company that is connecting and managing every smartphone, desk phone, server, PC, tablet, office, shop, factory, till, ATM and data centre in an integrated and smart way. We are of profound importance to the way businesses operate, not just the way their employees work. By adopting new technologies, businesses can embrace mobility confidently and in doing so drive the agility, connectivity and customer experience required to plan for a continually changing business world. A Ready Business has better connected employees, better customer engagement and increased operational agility. It is mobile, fast moving, scalable, responsive, efficient, and customer-centric and connected” she added.

What this campaign means to Ghanaian businesses

‘Ready Business’ means the medium-large companies and Small-office-Home-office in the country, can take advantage of the unique customisable Smart choice mobile service that helps them to manage communication costs and enjoy free calls to colleague workers on the plan.

Corporate businesses who are concerned about increasing efficiency can also take advantage of suite of products to manage communication costs, track their fleet, and network branches nationwide.
