Razz Newspaper would like to assure its cherished readers and the general public that, it is not in any way involved in the alleged extortion case that involves one of its main writers and Deputy Editor, Osarfo Anthony and manager of Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan.

Osarfo, who is a dedicated personnel of the newspaper, is also attached to other entities including the portals, www.ghanacelebrities.com and www.ghbase.com – and the said case was directly linked to his association with www.ghbase.com.

The paper would like to state categorically that, it had no part to play in the series of stories and the audio recordings that were published on the website; and Osarfo’s writings for the portal had no linkage to publications in the paper.

Razz Newspaper, since the news of the sex scandal broke has not done any further investigations and related stories concerning the case except one; a story written by one of our writers, Nana Akua Banahene, who wrote a story based on an interview, granted Lawyer Maurice Ampaw to Hitz 103.9FM. The credit to that story was appropriately given to the radio station.

Regardless of the fact that, we are not connected to the case, the newspaper has shown immense support for our writer, Osarfo, by seeing to his bail and we continue to give him all the necessary succour as investigations continue.

The paper would like to thank all readers, industry persons and business partners who have shown support and continue to believe in the paper.
