As a developing country, we have had challenges and we always expect the government of the day to be up and doing to tackle these problems.

But, as much as we require these of the government, we equally need a responsible and willing opposition parties to keep the government on their toes in ensuring or delivering a sustainable future for our country.

It's sad this had never been so with the NPP in opposition.
All they seems to do is create problems for the NDC government all for their political expediency and this is very sad.

The recent GMA strike action sounds and smacks a lot of suspicions. So realizing this, as a group, we decided to make much investigation into this matter.

Through our investigations especially in the Ashanti Region, these were what we made up:

1. the NPP wants to disrupt attention of Ghanaians to the numerous
infrastructural development projects the NDC government has commenced because they see these us tools the NDC can use to retain power come 2016

2. the NPP has planned this strategy and a lot of them to further
disrupt the president from pursing his mandate and agenda, so they
would continually preach to the people of Ghana that the president
seems incompetent.

With this cruel strategy by the NPP, it has arranged a planned a lot of demonstrations and further strike actions with the TUC and other labour organizations.

Per our investigations as group, we unearth these unfortunate truth:

1. the Ashanti Regional chairman Mr. Antwi Bosiako (Chairman Wontumi) of the NPP had occasionally had series of meetings with the GMA Ashanti regional branch to further arrange and motivate them to keep up these strike actions.

2. also, per our investigations, we clearly saw that, Chairman Wontumi had paid huge sums of monies to most of the media stations especially those in kumasi to further projet and deepen this mean agenda.

Those media stations have asked just to blame solely the government in this matter and also give the members of the GMA the platform to insult and make the NDC government unpopular

3. we also have realized that the Ashanti regional chairman of the NPP and the NPP had planned a lot of demonstrations and strike actions with other labour unions and organizations to disrupt the president.

So from this moment, we will see all forms of strike actions with most of them starting from the Ashanti region.

We looked very sad upon realizing this agenda by the NPP against the government. Such a cruel opposition must not be encouraged by any because, it wouldn't be healthy for total development and effective transformation of our country.

Also, we urge the GMA to put the nation first ahead of any political party and further admonish them to act on professionalism and not to soil the trust Ghanaians have in them.

To chairman Wontumi, the rented media stations in Kumasi and the NPP, note that these forms of opposition is Cruelty and unacceptable.

You can't put the NPP'S agenda at the expense of the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian because it's the least you ever thought of doing

Finally, we support the strong stand of the president, that we aren't going to spend outside the budget, because we need to ensure fiscal discipline and avoid all forms of over expenditure as a country.

We further advise the president to remain resolute and focused and not to be moved by any forms of institutions, organizations or the
opposition. We believe he should keep up with the 'dead goat' and
yentia obiara style in these matters.
