Frimps Oil Company Limited (Frimps Oil) as a corporate body wishes to inform the general public that it would never ' cheat' our dear and cherished customers because of the trust in the quality and affordability of our products and services.
The Ghana Standard Authority (GSA), as part of its mandate, periodically inspects fuel measuring instruments in fuel service stations across the entire nation. As such, this is not the first time that the GSA has been to our various service stations for inspection and verification. They were at our station at Tetegu on March 18th and our station passed the inspection and verification tests carried out on that day. The Tetegu service station has not been ' cheating' our customers as they so put it.
Frimps Oil as a corporate entity will never make a deliberate attempt to ' cheat' our customers. The issue at hand where the GSA locked some of our pumps (not all) happened on the 2nd of May and since then, it has already been corrected.
The GSA had already visited 60 of our filling stations and just two of them had some technical issues with their pumps. Due to the fact that Frimps Oil operates to ensure that our customers receive the best fuel products in terms of pricing, quality and quantity, we have technicians that are always travelling within our stations to ensure that all of our pumps are working correctly.
This is because, since pumps are machineries, sometimes they can either oversell or undersell. As such, we have corrected the issues raised by the GSA at the Tetegu and Spintex service stations.
Frimps Oil will never seek to act dishonestly by willfully cheating its customers in order to gain an unfair advantage. This is because we cherish our customers and they make us proud when they complement and commend us on the quality, affordability and quantity of our products.
Frimps Oil will continue to serve all of our cherished customers with quality, affordable and accurate quantity of fuel products.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Erica Frimpong
(Head, Corporate Affairs).

This statement is nothing but an insult to customers. You have admitted in paragraph three that GSA closed down your station. Was that done because you out done a right doing? Stop the ***barred word***. Those stations should be closed down immediately!
FRIMPS OIL SHOULD STOP THIS NANSENSE AND FIX THEIR CHEATING PUMPS. LOOK AT THE BOLDNESS WITH WHICH THEY ARE TRYING TO POUR WATER ON THE GSA REPORT ON THEIR CHEATING. GSA SHOULD START THE PROCESS OF MAKING SUCH CHEATING COMPANIES REFUND ALL MONIES MADE THROUGH CHEATING AND NPA SUSPENDING THEIR LICENSE.
Erica frimpong, fa sor hor!! Akronfuor!! "Pumps oversell and undersell" ehh? I bet in this instance your pump was underselling. Use your energy to make up for cheating your customers and stop putting out ***barred word*** publications
'since pumps are machineries' English for you.
Had the GSA not come out to expose this corrupt mal-practises in this fuel stations,it would had continued until thy kingdom come.It had been the way of cheating innocent clients of these stations for years. The sadness is that owners of all these stations may either be leading christians or muslims.
AT THAT TIME CEDI USD RATE WAS 5.6+, AMOUNTING GH 599.2 PLUS SWIFT CHARGES COSTING ME GH 1,200+. TELLING ME THAT THE SWIFT CHARGES ALONE COST ME GH 600.8+ GHANA CEDIS. IS THIS RIGHT? BECAUSE THAT SAME PERIOD A FRIEND ALSO TRANSFERRED THE SAME AMOUNT TO SAME COUNTRY BUT A DIFFERENT BANK; WHICH HE SPENT JUST ABOUT GH 700+. LOOK AT THE DIFFERENCE OF THE SAME AMOUNT, THE SAME MONTH, IN THE SAME COUNTRY GHANA USING THE SAME EXCHANGE RATE AND TRANSFERRED TO THE SAME COUNTRY. WHY THIS DISPARITY? NO WONDER THE BOG CHARGED BARCLAYS BANK GH 4.5 OR 4.7K FOR USING WRONG EXCHANGE RATE DIFFERENTIALS. TO CONCLUDE, I'LL SUGGEST ANY CUSTOMER WHO HAS BEEN SHORT CHANGED BY BARCLAYS BANK OR ANY IN GHANA, SHOULD TAKE THEM ON BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE PERIOD. I'M WAITING TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST THEM.
YOU SEE GHANAIAN CORPORATE ENTITIES AND CORRUPTION; CAUGHT PANT DOWN BUT WILL SPEAK BIG GRAMMAR OR ENGLISH TO DEFEND THEMSELVES AND THEIR COMPANIES. I THINK THEY SHOULD HURRIEDLY REFUND CUSTOMERS THEIR DIFFERENCE AND FINALLY BE SUED TO SERVE AS A DETERRENT TO THEM PERIOD. NOT FORGETTING ABOUT BARCLAYS BANK WHO ALSO DID THE SAME THING TO ME WHEN I TRANSFERRED $ (USD) OF 107 (ALMOST GH 1,200) FOR A PROGRAM IN CANADA BUT WAS CHARGE TWICE THIS AMOUNT AS SWIFT CHARGES AT THE LEGON BARCLAYS BANK, SHOPPING MALL BRACH. THOUGH THIS MONEY WAS DEDUCTED FROM MY VISA CARD AND MOREOVER I HAVE BEING A CUSTOMER WITH BANK SINCE 2010 TO DATE DURING MY UNIVERSITY DAYS, AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GHANA. GHANA WE HAVE NUMEROUS LAWS BUT DON'T WORK ESPECIALLY TO THE ORDINARY POOR. CORRUPTION HAS REALLY ENGULF OUR COUNTRY GHANA WITH PEOPLE IN BIG TIES AND DRIVING PORCH CARS BUT THE MOST FUNNY ASPECT IS THAT ALL ARE MAJORITY CHRISTIANS. MERCY LORD..................
