A leading doctor who treated victims of the July 7 London bombings has died after fire swept through her home.
Claire Sheppey, 47, a consultant paediatric anaesthetist at the Royal London Hospital, became trapped in her second-floor flat in Islington, north London, when the fire broke out in the early hours on Wednesday.
