The Nsawam Magistrate Court presided over by Mrs Alberta Amponsah, on Wednesday remanded a 24-year-old driver, Isaac Darko of Nsawam Adoagyiri into prison custody for possessing human skeletons.

Darko pleaded guilty with explanation and would reappear on June 7, 2013.

Prosecuting Police Chief Inspector Sampson Dobere told the court that the complainant and the accused live in the same house at Alafia-Adoagyiri near Nsawam.

Chief Inspector Dobere said the complainant for some time detected looting of graves at the old Muslim cemetery in the area and on May 26, 2013 at about 2130 hours some human bones were found in a travelling bag left in the house.
