The victims who are eight, 10 and 11 years were lured by Abam into an uncompleted house, ordered them to remove their pants and used his penis to brush their vagina from behind.

Abam 35, charged with six counts of indecent assault, pleaded guilty.

The court presided over by Mrs Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku convicted him on his plea.

Before sentencing, Abam pleaded with the court to deal leniently with him.

When the court asked Abam whether he was married, he replied in the negative saying some of the ladies he dated had been cheating on him.

According to Abam, those who do not cheat turned him down as soon as he raised the issue of marriage.

Prosecuting Detective Inspector Judith Asante told the court that the complainant is a carpenter residing at Sakumono Estate in Accra.

Abam also resides in the same area.

Prosecution said the first victim aged 11 is a class three pupil who lives with her mother. The second victim is 10 year old class two pupil who lives with her father. The third victim is a class two pupil also living with her parents.

According the prosecutor, the victim lives at Sakumono Estates. During November last year, the accused person lured them to commit the act.

Prosecution said on January 14 this year, and at about 3:00pm he repeated the act with the second and third victims at the same place.

Luck, however, eluded him when the complainant spotted him and two of the victims at the scene.

When Abam was quizzed, he could not give any explanation and he was arrested and handed over to the Police.

Abam in his caution statement admitted the offence.
