A Nigerian kidnapper Samuel Udoetuk Wills, 28, who broke jail after his arrest in December 2018, was on Thursday arraigned before the Takoradi Magistrate’s Court.
The accused charged with causing damage, escaping from lawful custody and resisting arrest, pleaded not guilty to all the three counts.
He was remanded in prison custody to reappear on Wednesday January 16.
Chief Inspector Ametepe Letsui told the court that the suspect was arrested from his hide out at Kansaworondo in the Sekonsi-Takoradi Metropolis after a struggle.
The suspect he said is believed to be behind most of the kidnapping cases reported in the month of August and November causing fear and undue panic.
