Mrs Mary Aamankwah, Headmistress of the Odorgonno Senior High School (OSSA), has appealed to parents, guardians and former students to contribute to the development of schools.
She said since government could not develop the education sector alone and parents and past students should assist in the provision of school infrastructure to promote teaching and learning.
Mrs Aamankwah in an interview with GNA in Accra called on the former students of OSSA to take part in the activities marking the 70th anniversary of the school, which included a breakfast Show, homecoming for past students, Speech Day and a thanksgiving Service.
She expressed the hope that the school would continue to play a leading role in the education sector.
