The Pentecost University College has signed an agreement with the Saginaw Valley State University which will see the U.S based University, mentor PUC in developing programmes in the Sciences, Engineering and Mathematics.
The Rector of Pentecost University College, Rev. Dr. Peter Ohene Kyei and the President of SVSU, Eric Gilbertson signed the �institutional mentorship relationship� agreement when he participated in the recently held graduation ceremony in the USA.
Under the agreement, faculty of PUC in the Faculty of Engineering, Science and Computing will be mentored by SVSU�s College of Science, Engineering and Technology, beginning with programmes such as Applied Mathematics and Computer Systems.
Under this same agreement, staff and students of both universities will be presented with the opportunity of exploring exchanges and joint research projects in various academic disciplines such as Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering and Physics.
In October 2011, the two Universities signed a memorandum of understanding which was aimed at strengthening relationships between the two Universities.
