A group of Teachers calling itself Coalition of Concerned Teachers has accused the current Government of being anti-Teacher.
The angry Teachers say the Mahama Administration has been implementing anti-Teacher policies since it took Office in 2012.
The group has warned that the government will face its anger if a new policy that requires that Teachers forfeit salary arrears of more than three months, is implemented.
They say some of them have worked for close to two years without salary and so implementing the new policy will be unfair to them.
The Coalitions General Secretary Raymond Boakye Darkwah told XYZ News many of the policies rolled out by the current government have been a noose for Teachers.
It is becoming clear that this government is the anti-teacher kind of GovernmentIts a government [under which] Teachers suffered under single spine, its a government that has scrapped Teacher trainee allowances
The Teachers also say they are disappointed with Education Minister Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang for failing to fight for the interest of Teachers.
