The Presbyterian University of Ghana has banned all students in their campuses across the country from putting on lipstick and tattooing their open body parts when they are on campus.
Students who put on expensive, striking jewels and dress indecently to expose their bodies have no place in the university, the authorities have also indicated.
Issuing the warning, President of the University Rev. Prof Emmanuel Adow Obeng indicated that the school will not compromise its fundamental principles of training God fearing, hardworking and committed students who will later impact positively on the development of the country.
Speaking to Adom News, the Assistant Public Relations Officer of the University, Emmanuel Ako Gyimah, said baggy trousers, oversized shirts, extreme haircuts are also not allowed in lecture halls and at official functions.
