Rev. Jonothan Bate, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of The Ghana Education Service says, his office have not received any letter to the effect, from a science teacher named Mr Faanuel Yaw Ayawale on the basis to get rid of some text books in the system which have typographical and grammatical errors in them.
"We would make sure we probe vigorously into this issue and make the public aware of it by consulting his outfit and get back to the media," he added.
In an interview with Peace FM News, the sceience teacher disclosed that it has been close to 2 years now that he realised these books have mistakes in them and he thinks this is the right time because he wanted to be sure with concrete evidence.
The science teacher added that he would pleased if the text books would be writhdrawn from both public and private schools because it would harm the academic performance of students.
