Deputy Minister for Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has debunked claims that the Double track system will be ending in September 2019.

The minister of education, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh was reported to have said that the system will be ending this year and that the ministry would soon complete work on a number of Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) projects that will accommodate more students.

However, in a one-on-one interaction with Kwami Sefa-Kayi on Peace FM morning show 'Kokrokoo', Thursday, Dr Adutwum said the double track system which aims at addressing congestion in second cycle schools following the implementation of the Free SHS programme will continue for some more years until more school buildings are built to accommodate everybody.
