Ghanaian pharmaceutical companies now have the capacity to produce anti-retroviral drugs for the West African sub-region.
One of the companies, Dan Adams came up for mention after the Minister of Health, Alban Bagbin, toured its facility along the Spintex road.
Bagbin and his technical team stated the need for government to support the firm to further expand its operations.
In an interview with GBC's Radio Ghana, the Minister elaborated on how the companies can be assisted.
On what government is doing for other pharmaceutical firms, Mr. Bagbin expressed the assurance that the Ministry will visit such facilities to know what support to offer them.
