The National Ambulance Service has acquired new emergency numbers due to network challenges it has been having with its toll free number 193.
Speaking to Citi News, the Public Relations Officer of the Service, Simons Yusif Kewura said the new numbers were acquired as part of measures to improve the quality of service.
Citi News reported on the difficulties some Ghanaians were facing in reaching the Ambulance Service during emergencies.
Bernard Boamah had to transport his sick father in a land cruiser from the La General Hospital in Accra to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi after several attempts to reach the National Ambulance Service failed.
Simons Yusif Kewura told Citi News his outfit has had several of these complaints, especially from Expresso customers, hence the need to acquire the new lines.
The following are the new numbers acquired by the Service.
