The Ghana Immigration Service says it does not have the necessary logistics to deal with health issues at the borders.
The Service has therefore welcomed government's effort in setting up a Port Health Unit at the borders for that purpose.
The Director of Public Affairs at the Ghana Immigration Service, Francis Palmdeti, said this in an interview with GBC24.
He added that a ban cannot be placed on a particular migrant with an ailment, unless the necessary investigations conducted on the migrant reveals a health threat to Ghanaians.
