World Vision Ghana and the Ghana Coalition of NGO's in health have called on government to remain committed to the 15% budgetary allocation to health that it acceded to in the Abuja Declaration, saying the current 9.47% allocation is woefully inadequate.
At a news briefing in Accra, the National Director of World Vision Ghana, Hubert Charles said if government does not invest more in primary healthcare, the country is not likely to meet the Millennium Development Goals, (MDG) four and five.
