Leaders Factory Group (LFG), a leadership development training institute, has so far trained about 8,000 corporate executives under the African Management and Productivity Institute (AMPRO) and Pan-African Institute for Leadership in Governance programme since 2002.
Reverend Gideon Titi-Ofei, Group Chief Executive of the LFG made this known at a graduation ceremony of the institute, which witnessed the passing out of 80 corporate executives from the AMPRO programme in Accra on Saturday.
He said the institute was putting up a modern university complex in Accra, which would run courses in Human Resource, Credit Risk Management, International Relations, Local Governance and Leadership.
Rev. Titi-Ofei, who is also the General Overseer of the Sheepfold Chapel said plans were in place to secure accreditation, which would enable the university to run a graduate school of Government and a graduate school of Business programmes.
He urged the graduating students to let their light shine and play a leadership role in the society since a light put under a bed would not shine.
Rev. Titi-Ofei advised drivers to desist from driving under the influence of alcohol as the celebration of Christmas draws near to safe lives and property.
