The young man who was arrested for killing 11 vultures in the Yilo Krobo District of the Eastern region will appear before court today.
He was arrested at the Somanya slaughter house over the weekend.
The suspect allegedly confessed he was contracted by two chop bar operators to supply them with vultures.
Residents of Somanya say they can no longer buy food from chop bars because they fear they may be eating vulture instead of chicken.
Chief Inspector, Samuel Ofosu Prempeh of the Somanya Police Station in an interview with XYZ News said the suspect will be prosecuted if found guilty of wrong any doing.
