Reliable information reaching Peacefmonline.com indicates that an helicopter carrying workers of Newmont Ghana has crashed landed in the Ashanti Region.
The chopper, which had on board eight (8) passengers including the pilot and his co-pilot, developed a fault whiles in mid-air.
According to Peace FM and Hello FM's reporter, Sampson Nyamekye, the pilot brought his experience to bear and managed to land at Beposo, near Ejisu Juabeng in the Bosomtwi constituency, in the Ashanti region.
Luckily, none of the passengers onboard sustained any serious injuries.
The aircraft, with the number SA 365 C2 embossed on its tail, was flying from Kenyase to Accra.
For now, investigations are underway to find out what caused the helicopter to crash-land.
