Parliament is to take a decision on the status of three MPs who recently participated in the Parliamentary primaries of the NPP.
First Deputy Speaker, Edward Doe Adjaho made this known when his attention was drawn to the issue by the MP for Tamale Central, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini.
Making his statement, Alhaji Fuseini said by Article 97 one H of the Constitution, a member shall vacate his seat in Parliament if he came to the House as an Independent candidate and joins a political party.
The MP for New Juaben North, Hackman Owusu Agyemang however said, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini was not using the right channel to address the issue.
Mr. Adjaho said, he would take a decision on the matter after proper consultation.
Meanwhile, the House has adjourned its emergency sitting
