Road transport operators have issued a new road transport fares owing to the increase of fuel price in the country.
A press release issued to the copied to the Ghana News Agency and signed by Mr. Stephen Okudzeto, Mr. Ben Amoabeng Peprah, Alhaji Yaw Manu and Alhaji Aliyu Baba road transport operators stated that, the new road transport fares take immediate effect.
�The road transport operators are kingly requested to comply with the new fares and post the fare list at their loading terminals so as to avoid any confrontation with the travelling public,� it added.
The press release noted that the new road transport fares cover the inter-city (trotro), inter-city (long distance) and taxi cabs.
The road transport operators appealed to commuters and the general public to kindly cooperate for the success of the new road transport fares.
