The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMA) has warned that some areas in the various regions across the country would experience floods as the rains set in.
In an interview with Citi News a senior meteorologist at the Ghana Meteorological Agency indicated that the rains are mostly set in during May and June.
According to him, a single downpour may be torrential but as the months go by, the accumulation of moderate rains that we will be getting may lead to over flooding in some areas.
Mr. Siame also indicated that the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) is on alert to avert any disaster.
He cautioned the public to link up with the NADMO, and give information when they have flooding occurring at their places.
He also added that the public should evacuate places where floods would occur.
