Ghana will host the 8th Pan Africanist Movement conference next year to coincide with the 105th birthday of Ghana's first President Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
The conference will take place in Accra for the first time in twenty years.
This came to light at a meeting between the Vice President, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur and the Ugandan Minister of Justice Major General Kahinda Otafiire in Accra.
General Otafiire who is also the Chairman of the Pan Africanist Movement, asked for support from the government for a successful conference in view of the lead role of Ghana in Pan Africanism.
