The Minister of Transport, Dzifa Ativor has raised concerns about the long hours the two coxswains work at Senchi and Akrade crossings on the Volta River.
She said for the two to manage the ferries for long hours are unacceptable as they will be exhausted.
The Minister therefore appealed to the manager of the ferries, Benjamin Adjei Keelson to train more coxswains so that they can run shift to reduce the work load and also enable more hands to work in case of emergencies.
The Minister mentioned this when she paid a visit to the ferry site at Senchi in the Eastern Region.
