The former Member of Parliament (MP) for Nkoranza North, Eric Amoateng is now out of police custody.
The former Nkoranza North legislator was released from police custody on August 15, 2014 after satisfying his bail terms.
Eric Amoateng was arrested for allegedly possessing a forged Ghanaian passport.
Speaking to Citi News, his Lawyer, Charles Pouzing said he was released after the Court was satisfied with his bail terms.
There were bail conditions that were imposed. The duty of the Police was to go according to the orders of the judge in terms of the bail condition, and that is what they were going through to satisfy themselves that indeed they had met the bail conditions .., he explained.
He said the case has been adjourned to the August 26 by which time the prosecution will decide whether to prosecute or to proceed with calling witnesses."
If they are not ready then maybe another adjourned date will be given, he added.
