The Coalition of Concerned Teachers has threatened to strike over the retrenchment of pupil teachers and the non-payment of transfer grants.
The group is also opposing the new ranking for licensing teachers and governments handling of the mass failure of WASSCE candidates.
Public Relations Officer for the group, Ali Awudu in an interview with Starr News said they have given government three weeks to resolve their grievances or would be forced to strike.
Many of the issues have already been raised which still remain unresolved even after the President had promised to resolve them.
Things like the GES occupational scheme, the second tier, the 24 months incremental credit, non-payment of transfer grants, all these are old issues and government is still not doing anything about it Awudu said.
