A former National Security Advisor, Brigadier Joseph Nunoo-Mensah (Rtd), has proven that despite his age, he is still capable to work for the people he serves.
The hardworking no nonsense “old soldier” and politician has over the years been against government workers who consistently abandon their works and use strikes to get their concerns addressed to government.
A year ago he was famous for the phrase “If the kitchen is too hot for you, get out”. Thus to tell “lazy” government workers to leave the county if they cannot sacrifice and work for the betterment of the country.
Brigadier Joseph Nunoo-Mensah through his hard works commissioned a nine-classroom block he built for O’reilly Senior High School in Accra, last year.
“As I walk in the sun here from morning till evening sometime I only drink orange juice to build a school for the future of our children. Then some teachers say that they won't teach them because they are on strike! It is very sad that we toil with the future of our children,” he said during the commissioning of the school.
However, a picture of the security kingpin has gone viral on social media depicting him as a pipe fitter.
Hash-tag #SERVICE TO HUMANITY, Brigadier Joseph Nunoo-Mensah captioned the picture as “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.”― Winston Churchill
