Traders of Kejetia central market on Wednesday painted the streets of Kumasi red and black when they demonstrated against the reconstruction of the market.
The traders were accusing Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) boss of not involving them in any discussion concerning the construction.
The demonstration dubbed "Yate Abr3" attracted a lot of traders who were cladded in red and black and holding placards with inscriptions like “Kojo Bonsu p3s3 wokum Kejetiafo), “we are not against development, we need equity” and so on.
