Hundreds of people who have gone to the ‘biggest’ mall in Ghana, West Hills Mall to shop, Thursday, took to their heels to escape a possible death.
Apparently, there was no disaster – rather a planned simulation exercise by the Ghana National Fire at the mall took a different twist when persons who were not directly involved got it all twisted.
The exercise has since been explained – according to the deputy National Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service, Prince Billy Anaglate the incident was unfortunate – “it was a mock run”.
Shoppers say the fire alarm at the facility made a loud sound prompting everyone to run from the magnificent facility.
But official told Kasapa FM that – “the fire had not gutted any portion as feared by some users of the facility”
