The Judicial Service has announced the official opening of the Criminal Session on Monday.
Consequently, the forecourt of the Law Court Complex, which will host the ceremony, will not be opened for parking of vehicles Monday morning.
The Criminal Session, also known as the Criminal Assizes is the annual constitution of the High Court by a single judge and selected jurors to administer justice in heinous crimes such as robbery, murder, manslaughter and rape.
The session is usually opened by the Chief Justice.
A statement signed by the Judicial Secretary, Justice Alex Poku-Acheampong, asked all users of the Law Court Complex to take note and comply with the directive, apologizing also for any inconvenience it may cause.
