Members of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital Senior Staff Association have expressed their unhappiness with the current Chief Executive Office of the hospital, Dr. Gilbert Buckle – after calling on him to with immediate effect evacuate his position.
The Staff have accused the top manager of mismanaging the hospital’s internally generated funds and paying what they termed needless judgement debts while neglecting the welfare of staff of the hospital.
Although Dr. Gilbert Buckle is just a year old at his post – the biggest hospital in the country staff members wants him out.
Speaking to NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie', the President of the Senior Staff Association (KOSSA), Charles Ofei-Palm maintained that – “They will not take any nonsense from any incompetent CEO anymore.”
He was emphatic that – “If Korlu-Bu must change CEO every year to see the hospital running well, we will do that for the betterment of the country and innocent patients and we the staff.”
