Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, daughter of former President Jerry John Rawlings in an Easter message, has urged all road users especially drivers to observe traffic regulations as part of measures to reduce carnage on the road during this season.
In a message she wrote on her facebook page, the NDC’s Klottey Korle parliamentary aspirant said:
I stopped counting the number of vehicles that jumped red lights this afternoon. What percentage of those people will be pointing fingers at other people committing crimes that they perceive as being worse than theirs? There is a sound reason why we have light sequences, zebra crossings, demarcations on the roads etc.
Lawlessness starts at the level of the individual!
Let us abide by the rules of the road and keep the death toll as low as possible during the season!
