According to information available to Peacefmonline.com, the three were put in a South African Airways flight number 210; bound for Johannesburg Tuesday morning at the Kotoka International Airport.

The three including Major Ahmed Shaik Hazis (rtd), 54; Warrant Officer Denver Dwayhe, 33, and Captain Mlungiseli Jokani, 45 were arrested in Ghana a few days ago on suspicion of engaging in “acts that threaten the country’s security.”

They were subsequently taken to court and charged with conspiracy to commit crime and unlawful training.

According to the NPP, the three ex-police officers were in the country to provide training for the security detail of their flagbearer; Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo and his running mate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

A portion of a statement signed by Nana Akomea, NPP Director of Communications said: "in an age where a radio programme host by name ‘Mugabe’, on Montie FM, a radio station belonging to the stable of the ruling party, has stated that Nana Akufo-Addo will die before June this year, we, in the NPP, will not take any chances, whatsoever, with the security of our leaders".
