ONE OF THE MOST ANNOYING PIECES ANYBODY CAN READ ONE MORNING IS THIS ***barred word*** OF A PRESCRIBED UNIFORM FOR THE TEACHERS. HAS THE GOVERNMENT OR GES FOR A SINGLE MOMENT, THOUGHT ABOUT PROVIDING UNIFORMS FOR THE TEACHER? OR AS USUAL, TEACHERS SHOULD USE THEIR OWN MONEY TO BUY AND SEW AND TEACH GHANAIAN CHILDREN!!
What kind of people are there in the Ghana education service? I have not heard about this kind of rubbish for a long time.
GES has forgotten that we have physical education (P. E) teachers who need to ware trousers to trian the children. This policy was not well taught through no wonder.
@Papa Jay, where is your brain? why shouldn't the GES stop lady teachers from wearing mini skirts? teachers are supposed to dress decently for the children to emulate. well done GES
Are we sure this directive is not in the right direction as my fellow Ghanaians are suggesting? IF there is any wise REFORM ever taken by GES, this is a call to the right direction. I bet this is the voice of the holy spirit directing the heads of our educational leaders. I also suggest they study the trends of education now and minimize the chew and pour way of educating our young chaps. The practicals should be more. Now my fellow Ghanaians, I trust you should know by now that our current educational system which tends to leave us jobless and lacks the ability to equip us to start business on our own is not about passing WASSCE or obtaining Diploma or Degree certificates. OKAY, if this is not necessary as some of us are suggesting, how can a Teacher in (Oto Phister) tell his students to tuck-in well or a tightly fit mini skirt and multi-coloured powdered face Madam advice the girls in likewise manner?. I pray we embrace good reforms and seek insights in issues before commenting, this has got everything to do with teaching... Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. PROVERBS 22:6.
Women can't wear trousers to work. What century are we in? Please tell me.
Ghana always focuses on the unnecessary.I wonder whether this directive will increase WASSCE scores or provide the materials students need to study. Nonfa nkoaa that our elders care about no wonder we are where we are. How does trousers correlate to exam failing
that is good but pls ban them from wearing it in town as well. they are intimidating we the men in the towns and when you go propose to them they turn you down. on the other hand their students see them in town too. thank you. from a concerned citizen
What is the level of determine of miniskirt? Dose GES pay for clothing allowance? Male teachers are not put on run-neck t-shirt but polo T-shirt, what is the difference between that? And is GES ready to give a uniform cloth to all teachers? PLS don't make my President Nana Addo to be question asking, there is no link, why, and understanding of this directive. PLS come again, GES sot to use dress code but there is no thing like that, they should show where the code talk of what they have put is their directive.
I spent almost forty minutes trying to understand the inscription on my teachers tee shirt
