Communications Director of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is hoping the late Asempa FM presenter, Kwadwo Asare Baffuor Acheampong (KABA) will resurrect.
Solomon Nkansah said he is yet to come to terms with the fact that such a peaceful fun loving person is gone.
The NDC man who is still in shock likened the sudden demise of KABA to the explosion of an “atomic bomb”.
KABA, who was, host of Asempa FM’s flagship afternoon programme, ‘Ekosi Sen’ was pronounced dead on arrival at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital where he was rushed after he fell sick early Saturday.
He was 37 years. He left behind his wife, Valentina Ofori Agyei, also a broadcaster with Accra-based Class FM and a 7-month old daughter, Nana Yaa.
On Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem programme Wednesday, Solomon Nkansah eulogized the late broadcaster as someone who lived above politics.
Like Jesus resurrected Lazarus, he is hoping the so-called prophets can bring KABA back to life to prove their wealth.
The NDC man said the late presenter has left a vacuum in the journalism profession because “he was one of the most talented journalists in our generation”.
Solomon Nkansah appealed to the media to emulate KABA and be professionals in the discharge of their duty.
