Undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has revealed that he has not undertaken any investigative project on Ghana’s parliament.
“Did I tell you I was doing an investigation in parliament? When did I say this? Prove to me…I have not done any work in parliament. If I have done work in parliament I will release it,” he said in an interview on Accra-based Joy FM on Thursday 28 June 2018.
Some critics have accused Anas who recently released the Number 12 documentary which exposed corruption in Ghana football of being selective in his work.
Information has been rife on social media that the award-winning journalist has shelved undercover documentary on parliament in order to protect some people.
But Mr Anas insists: “I will be stupid to follow someone’s comments and because of that I come out with a story. I will make sure I prepare well because at the end of the day if I am sued you will not be there to help me, I have to be there to defend myself”.
He continued: “Those who say I have removed [someone] let them prove it. When I removed, how I removed and for what purpose I removed the person”.
He however indicated that he will be embarking on additional projects which will be released when completed both in Ghana and other African countries after the success of the Number 12 documentary.

I am beginning to see who is lying in this Ken Vs Anas fight. unfortuantely for Ken he is not fighting only one person but a cabal. His own gang member Kwesi Pratt said it in 2015. he would have denied the galamsey one too if not that the gang leader Kweku Baako have already said. they cant tell me it is not completed. Kweku Baako already said the information has been sent to the police and that if the political element in the galamsey thing is not taken care of then we must 4get this fight against galamsey. the problem i have we us Ghanaians is that we dont follow issues with our brains but with our hearts and that is why we will continue to be f000led. this Ken vs Anas fight will go no where. mark my words.
