The Ghana Education Service (GES) is recruiting over 8,000 teaching and non-teaching staff to meet the demands of the double track system which starts in September 2018.
This was made known in an interview with the Head of the Public Relations Unit of the GES, Ms Cassandra Ampofo Twum on Tuesday's edition of 'Kokrokoo' on Peace FM.
"we have plans of recruiting cooks, labourers and so on and they are all part of the 8000 plus staff. In all it is 8,872" she indicated.
According to her, applicants who intend to apply for the position of teachers will be required to log onto www.gespromotions.gov.gh to fill an online application form; buy voucher of GC5.00 using mobile money. Those shortlisted will then write a test to prove they are truly qualified.
