Results of the teacher licensure examination will be released in October, 2018 according to the National Teaching Council (NTC) of the Ministry of Education.
A total of 28,766 candidates particpated in the examination wiith 24,687 diiploma students, 3,885 first degree holders, 7 and 187 masters degree and Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) holders respectively.
The examination which took three days was held in all the colleges of education in the country with the exception of the Christ the Teacher, Akim Oda Methodist, St Ambrose, McCoy, Cambridge, Jackson and Holy Spirit colleges of education.
A statement signed by Ekow Vincent Assafuah, PRO for the Education Ministry said “results will be released in the middle of October 2018” and that “the next examination will be in January 2019”.
“The National Teaching Council “is committed to conducting the licensure examination in the most professional manner possible, to ensure that teachers in this country are brought in line wiith international best practices. Finally, the National Teaching Council wishes to thank all stakeholders who contributed in diverse ways to make the examination a success” the statement further indicated.
