Former Member of Parliament for the people of Asante Akyem North (AAN) who is the current Board Chairman for the National Sports Authority, Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang has partnered the Dream Projects Education Foundation to put smiles on the faces of many children of deprived communities in his constituency.
Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang as part of the partnership is supporting the Dream Projects with a 1000 exercise books to be given to some deprived communities in the Asante Akyem North constituency, namely Dukusen, Afisere, and Kwame Addo.
Dream Projects Education Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping needy students and deprived schools in deprived communities through the provision of exercise books, school shoes, bags, and other stationery.
The Partnership
On how he decided to partner Dream Projects, the former MP explains that he learned of the impending donations to the above villages and the Facebook of the foundation and did his search about the group and phoned them to be part of the project.
“I remember their excitement when I told them I want to be part of the project”, he told Peacefmonline.com in an interview.
Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang is not new to supporting education due to his commitment to education as he continues to sponsor free vacations classes and pays the fees of many from his days as MP till date; thus, he personally donated over 10,000 books and other educational materials amongst other charities.
Dream Projects Education Foundation and the Hon. former Member of Parliament have expressed their happiness at this partnership and are looking forward to extending this gesture to other communities very soon.
